The rugged UE-9318 Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG) platform is a DVB-S/S2 and MPEG-2 (software upgradeable to MPEG-4 H.264) encoder/modulator/upconverter combination that provides best picture quality for the demanding mobile satellite news market .
Modulator - L Band Output
- Built-in IF DVB-S/S2 QPSK/8PSK Modulator (16APSK optional)
- 50 to 180MHz IF output in 1KHz steps
- Symbol rate is 50Ksps through 15Msps
- Roll-off factor is 20%, 25%, and 35%
- Output Power is -30dBm to +5 in 1dBm steps
- Selectable output impedence of 50 or 75-ohms
